1 Corinthians 8:2 “And if any man think that he knoweth any thing, he knoweth nothing yet as he ought to know.”

Proverbs 3:5 “Trust in the LORD with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding.

What can man know or understand then?

Mark 13:31-32 “Heaven and earth shall pass away: but my words shall not pass away. But of that day and [that] hour knoweth no man, no, not the angels which are in heaven, neither the Son, but the Father.”

In the Bible “heaven and earth” represent something other than just the physical earth and sky. Man cannot now and is not supposed to know when the “heaven and earth” shall pass away”.

This means that man cannot know and should not know what exactly God has in store for his life.

Romans 8:24-25, 28 “For we are saved by hope: but hope that is seen is not hope: for what a man seeth, why doth he yet hope for? But if we hope for that we see not, [then] do we with patience wait for [it]. ... And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to [his] purpose.”

So it says man is saved when he stops trying to know what he needs and when those changes will happen. Man is saved when he hopes only for what the LORD brings him each day, and then will all things work together for the good to him.

1 Corinthians 2:9-10 “But as it is written, Eye hath not seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered into the heart of man, the things which God hath prepared for them that love him. But God hath revealed [them] unto us by his Spirit: for the Spirit searcheth all things, yea, the deep things of God.”

Man cannot see or hear or understand what God has prepared, and he must stop trying to see and just trust the invisible un-comprehendible Spirit. Man is not made to be able to know and should not try to know, and that is the beauty and "magic" of it all.

Ephesians 3:19-20 “And to know the love of Christ, which passeth knowledge, that ye might be filled with all the fulness of God. Now unto him that is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that worketh in us,”

And when man realizes this concept, the power of the Spirit will do exceedingly above anything that can be requested or even thought of by man. And these words imply that this power works when man lets go of his own understanding of it all and stops trying to figure it out on his own.

2 Peter 3:13 “Nevertheless we, according to his promise, look for new heavens and a new earth, wherein dwelleth righteousness.”

Psalm 4:5 “Offer the sacrifices of righteousness, and put your trust in the LORD.”

The new heavens and new earth are man’s willingness to trust in the LORD rather than trying to figure it all out – this is the sacrifice of righteousness. So;

Philippians 4:6-7 “Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God. And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus”.

Peace which is acceptance and tranquility in the present overcomes/overpowers (i.e. "passeth") all that man can try to understand or worry about.
